Tottenham are going to be linked with a number of players over the summer and the latest name to get a mention is Napoli’s Piotr Zielinski. Zielinski has been super impressive once again in Naples this season and according to Alfredo Pedulla, he is a player Tottenham have now added to their list of potential summer signings. Pedulla reports how Antonio Conte tried to sign Zielinski when he was at Inter but couldn’t get a deal over the line. However, with the Polish star having just a year to run on his contract now, there could be an easier path to a transfer. |

Zielinski, 28, is capable of playing in a number of midfield positions and would bring with him the experience and know how to instantly improve the Spurs squad and starting XI. That is what Conte wants this summer. Players who can make an instant impact. The midfielder was linked with a move to Arsenal in the past and was even tipped in the past to be a better player than Manchester City man, Phil Foden. Labelled as ‘exceptional’ by Paulo Sousa, Zielinski will be well known to both Conte and Fabio Paratici. TBR’s View: Zielinski Is Ready Made To Improve Tottenham With just a year on his contract, Spurs will hope that Napoli are open to doing a deal for cheaper than they might have previously been looking for. Certainly, Spurs have money to spend this summer, but they’ll want to maximise the market. Zielinski would be a good signing for Spurs and there’d be few grumbles if he was first through the door. |
